i think Andre was actually dying- literally- at this time. it was not known at the time but his health was taking him to the grave. this came out later in a tv documentary. he was a gentle giant
actually that wasnt really hulk hogan in that video. even back then they had some pretty good video editing software.
they called me up and asked me if i would fill in the match for them...so i did. nobody expected me to beat the giant, but i went in there and gave it my all. later that evening they completed the video editing to show that it was hulk hogan in there with the giant.
thats how i made my millions that nobody knows about.
it is one of my most favorite wrestling moments.
